Join us for an evening with Joel Harrison, a visionary guitarist, composer, and Guggenheim Fellow whose genre-defying sound blends jazz, classical, rock, country, Indian, and African traditions. With over 25 albums to his name, including collaborations with Norah Jones, David Binney, and tributes to George Harrison and Paul Motian, Harrison’s work has been praised as “a new blueprint for jazz.”
As the founder of the Alternative Guitar Summit, Harrison has created one of the world’s most celebrated platforms for boundary-pushing guitar music, featuring icons like Pat Metheny and Bill Frisell. His latest album, Anthem of Unity, and his recent book, Pity the Genius, further cement his role as one of today’s most original musical voices.
