Trombonist and vocalist Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band) and Brazilian guitarist/vocalist Ian Faquini bring their critically acclaimed duo project to Troy for an intimate performance. Blending jazz and Brazilian traditions with rich harmonies and deep rhythmic pocket, their sound is lush, transportive, and deeply soulful.

Opening the night is Joseph Biss, a MoJo’s favorite whose guitar playing and songwriting have captured hearts all across the Capital Region.

With over 25 albums to his name, including collaborations with Norah Jones, David Binney, and tributes to George Harrison and Paul Motian, Harrison’s work has been praised as “a new blueprint for jazz.”

As the founder of the Alternative Guitar Summit, Harrison has created one of the world’s most celebrated platforms for boundary-pushing guitar music, featuring icons like Pat Metheny and Bill Frisell. His latest album, Anthem of Unity, and his recent book, Pity the Genius, further cement his role as one of today’s most original musical voices.
